We have had a ton of interest from bands wanting to know more about the label and instead of setting any false expectations, I want to list out the most popular questions here so that future prospect bands can have a full understanding and feel comfortable with what we have to offer. Q1 - Does S.I.N. Productions offer any tour support?

No not as of this time. Touring is something a band does do with or without a label behind them. That being said, we do not hold any bands to any responsibilities of touring. When to tour and where to tour will be the decision of the S.I.N. Productions artists only. S.I.N. Productions will help in networking to try to setup tour dates and mapping out a tour schedule if this is something an artist needs assistance with.

Q2 - Does S.I.N. Productions pay for a band's recording?

No we do not. We do focus on bands that do have previously recorded material that they wish market to a mass audience or shop to other labels. Because of this, S.I.N. Productions does not hold any ownership of the bands on our label. We consider this a family and wish to have the best for our family. We encourage our artists to continue to grow to a career level status by pursuing other labels who may be a better fit for them in helping them grow.

Q3 - Does S.I.N. Productions hold any ownership to the music, can S.I.N. Productions dictate how material is written?

Absolutely NOT! S.I.N. Productions is a label that is attempting to give back to the artists for their work. Many other labels will claim ownership by contract to music that their artist has written in exchange for a loan (signing bonus) to record, purchase musical equipment, or band merchandise. This loan is paid back to the other labels with interest by capitalizing on a huge percentage of record sales, sometimes even 100% of monies made will be paid to the label. The artist receives only a small percentage of the sale AFTER the loan amount (and possibly interest as well) is paid back to the label. The material that is written by the artist a concept of that artist not of S.I.N. Productions. These bands were asked to sign with us because we like what they are doing and believe in them. We do not control them in any manner.

Q4 - What can S.I.N. Productions offer to my band?

As mentioned in a previous answer we want our bands to succeed and grow as large as they wish to be. We will market your band to a larger audience than most bands are able to reach through magazines, webzines, other music sites, constant promotion at other S.I.N. Productions artists shows, act as a hub for bands in communicating with each other to discuss opportunities for live performances, merchandise, recording discounts etc (see What is the S.I.N. Productions Family) (Q9).. We will also be releaS.I.N.g quarterly compilations of our newest S.I.N. Productions artist that are available for free to any customer who purchases any V.A.M.P. on the site. (COMING SOON podcasts, on radio shows that focus on similar music artists, S.I.N. Productions internet radio, and much, much, more)

Q5 - How is my band guaranteed that we will be paid for our sales?

We have our artists sign a agreement that protects them from S.I.N. Productions not compensating them on their sales (percentage of how much is confidential between the said artist and S.I.N. Productions). The contract is put in place to place to have our artists feel more at ease is signing with us. We put everything in writing as to our non-ownership of the artist or their material. A report of V.A.M.P. sales will be supplied to each artist monthly so that the artist may have a full view of their sales and their compensation. If an artist requests a copy of their sales on a more frequent basis, S.I.N. Productions will do everything in our power to facilitate this. Please keep in mind though we will be dealing with numerous bands and this is a time consuming process which takes us away from being able to promote our artists at that time.

Q6 - How will my band receive its compensation for it's sales?

We prefer payments be made via electronically by the web (i.e. PayPal or some other similar means). If this is not favorable to an artist we can mail a physical check to the artist made payable to name one on the signed agreement.

Q7 - Can my band sell copies of our CD at our shows?

No. Part of the agreement between S.I.N. Productions and its artist is that all potential customers be sent to the website www.SinProductionsllc.com or www.sinrecordings.com to purchase the artists material virtually. The reason for this is this will give the other artists on S.I.N. Productions an opportunity to gain a sale as well and will open the potential customer up to bands he/she has not as of yet heard of. This is part of the family aspect of the label that will help all bands on the label succeed. All S.I.N. Productions bands will be given ADCARDS to hand out to fans wanting to purchase their material at shows. The ADCARDS will have all the contact info for the label and at the same time promote S.I.N. Productions bands on the label by featuring their logos on the cards.

Q8 - My band is going on tour soon, can we sell CDs at those shows?

Actually yes. S.I.N. Productions will allow the artist to sell self manufactured CDs on tour and keep a log as to what is sold nightly. The artist will also be allowed to keep all of the profits while on tour. When the artist returns from tour they will submit a log of the sales to S.I.N. Productions and the dollar figure of what would by S.I.N. Productions's percentage will be taken from the immediate sales online of the artist, until the correct dollar amount is reached. At that time the normally percentage to the artist will again be issued to the artist as agreed upon per the contract. *******S.I.N. Productions will help the touring artist out with monies to purchase raw material for the self manufactured CDs in the amount of 50%, which will be added on to the sales log kept by the artist.

Q9 - What is the S.I.N. Productions Family?

The S.I.N. Productions Family is a network being developed for the bands only under a password protected part of the site where they can openly communicate with each other regarding merchandising, putting shows together at venues, sell equipment, find band members, and basically help them get to speak to each other about anything. We want to create a feeling of true family through unifying our artist into 1 powerful unit that will be financially rewarded for their V.A.M.P. sales and give them the power to dictate their career path in the music scene.
